W7RTX is amateur radio operator Dave Lange.
Below is a short history of of my radio experiences. I lived in Michigan, California, Washington, Colorado, Alaska, Iran, Spain.

Washington State- I was first licensed by the FCC in Washington State in 1991 as a no code Novice. The call sign then was KB7NKS. Soon later I upgraded to Technician and soon afterwards to General. I had lived in the Pacific Northwest for over 30 years. I have been working at the big big "B" (Boeing) since 1979. In 2001 I bought a beautiful house on acreage and the antenna farm started!
My current callsign W7RTX was granted by the FCC in 2002.

Colorado- I moved to Colorado Springs in 2004. Unfortunately I am not on much land here for towers and large antennas. I use a G5RV at 25 feet. On some weekends I head up into the hills to the 9,500 foot level with my battery, the ICOM 706MKIIG and my Buddipole. The main rig in use at the home QTH is a new ICOM 7600.

Alaska- I currently work in Alaska (100mi  South of Fairbanks) at Delta Junction. I work there for 7 weeks and return home to Colorado for two or three weeks- rotating back and forth. I now have my portable antenna system and the IC706 up in Alaska to start radio operations from there. See some great animal pics under the Alaska tab, for moose, caribou, bears, etc.
